  • Altair comes standard with the NOVA all-metal hot end. But, if you would like to have multiple hot ends with different nozzle sizes to easily swap out, you can purchase an extra NOVA hot end.
  • Heated Bed & Build Plate Assembly Upgrade

    This is a replacement bed and heating element for all Altair 1 and Altair 2 printers. This heated bed option is ideal for printing with ABS and for reducing warp for large PLA prints. The heated bed has two parts: a silicone heating element and a  a Borosilicate glass build surface (10.5" round) that provides a very durable, level surface for printing on.
  • Corkfill is a specialty filament which looks, feels, and behaves just like cork material. You can use Corkfill to make light-weight wood objects or traditional cork items such as dart boards and wine corks. Corkfill is a combination of PLA and Cork wood fibers. Colorfabb's Corkfill is PLA based, so you can print this filament on any printer than can handle PLA filament.

  • Carbon Fiber Reinforced PLA is a stiff material and makes parts that are very solid. It is great for printing high-strength mechanical parts. Increased rigidity from the carbon fiber means increased structural support but decreased flexibility, making it ideal material for frames, supports, propellers, tools... anything not expected (or desired) to bend. It is particularly loved by drone builders and RC hobbyists. The carbon fibers are processed to an optimum size: short enough to print in PLA without clogging nozzles, but long enough to provide the added rigidity carbon fiber is famous for.
