PrintSpace 3D™ L.L.C (hereafter “PS3D”) warrants its printers and its parts against defects in materials or workmanship for Six (6) months from the original delivery date. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser.

During the warranty period, PS3D will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at the option of PS3D, without charge to the original purchaser. This warranty is null and void if the defect or malfunction was due to damage resulting from operation not within manufacturer specifications or user error. Any repair authorized by PS3D is limited to parts provided and labor performed at PS3D facilities or by authorized service providers. The original purchaser must pay all shipping fees both to and from the facilities of PS3D during the 6-month period.

All original parts (parts installed by PS3D at the original system build) replaced by PS3D or its authorized service providers are warranted. However, any after-market additions or modifications are not warranted. The original purchaser is responsible for the payment for any unauthorized service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.

PS3D makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to its printers, other than set forth below.

Except as provided herein, PS3D is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from a purchaser’s (or its authorized and trained personnel) use or inability to use the product. Under no circumstances shall PS3D be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the computer, less any shipping fees.

The warranty and remedies set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.

 Note: This warranty shall be considered null and void in the event that the Altair printer housing is opened. The warranty does not cover issues that may arise from leaving a printer in extreme temperature environments. Hacking or otherwise changing the safe operating limits of the printer will void the warranty.

Warranty Conditions

PS3D’s Six (6) Month Limited Warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  1. This warranty extends only to printers distributed and/or sold by PS3D. It is effective only if the printers are purchased and operated in the USA.
  1. This warranty covers only normal use of the printer. PS3D shall not be liable under this warranty if any damage or defect results from (I) misuse, abuse, neglect, improper shipping, movement or installation; (ii) disasters such as fire, flood, lightning or improper electric current; (iii) service or alteration by anyone other than an authorized PS3D representative; or (iv) damages incurred through irresponsible or other non-recommended practices.
  1. This warranty is only effective if claims are accompanied by the order number (also invoice number), product SKU and original invoice from which the warranted product was purchased must accompany any warranty services or questions. PS3D will not provide warranty service without receipt of the order number and original invoice.
  1. No warranty extension will be granted for any replacement part(s) furnished to the original purchaser in fulfillment of this warranty.
  1. PS3D makes no warranty (either expressed or implied) regarding third-party (non-PS3D) installed parts or products.



For those seeking additional peace of mind in their 3D printing investment, the PrintSpace 3D™ Extended Service Plan is an excellent choice. The Extended Service Plan provides extended warranty coverage. Additional one and two year extended service plans are available.


The 6 month limited warranty applies to extended service plans with the exception of the printer hot end. In the case of the Extended Service Plan purchase, the limited warranty terms will be extended for the length of the service plan as specified in the purchase order.

Shipping expenses can add up quickly. With this service plan, PS3Dwill pay to return a repaired printer to the customer.


This service plan covers the costs of non-consumable replacement parts, such as the motherboard, extruder, heated bed, user interface components, power, but excludes the hot end.
